McCune and Reed Insurance was founded on August 1, 1960 by Bob McCune and George Reed, with roots tracing back to 1905.
Since 1960, McCune and Reed Insurance has grown to be
one of the largest Independent Insurance Agencies in Southeast Iowa.
Through the years, we have grown with internal growth and the purchase
of smaller local agencies.
As Independent Agents, we represent many well known and respected
insurance companies, with our primary focus being the insurance needs of
our clients.
The history of McCune and Reed Insurance is rich with payments of many claims, large and small, helping our clients through many difficult times. The true test of insurance agencies and companies is when the proper coverages are written to cover a loss with timely payments.
